IN-SEASON PAVILION RENTALS ARE AVAILABLE FROM APRIL 1ST TO OCTOBER 31ST 

RENTAL RATE = $75.00

OFF-SEASON PAVILION RENTALS ARE AVAILABLE FROM NOVEMBER 1ST TO MARCH 31ST  

RENTAL RATE = $35.00

NON-RESERVED PAVILIONS ARE AVAILABLE ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED BASIS

Pavilion rental times are from 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM. 

An alcohol permit is $40 per pavilion. Alternatively to to online form, reservations may be made by calling City Hall at (410) 751-1100. Payment must be received within 2 weeks from the time the reservation is made in order to secure the rental. Payments are not refundable.

All electronic reservations will include one 30₵ convenience fee per reservation, and a 3% transaction fee overall.

PARK RULES:

1. Reserving Group responsible for any damage to park facilities.
2. All debris to be cleaned up by Reserving Group. (Includes play areas).
3. Hours of operation: 8 A.M. to 10 P.M.
4. Disorderly conduct may result in loss of Park privileges. 
5. If alcoholic beverages are permitted, it must remain inside pavilion.
6. Inflatables are permitted only through a licensed and insured company and must be powered 
by a generator. Inflatables are only permitted to be set up immediately adjacent to the pavilion 
being rented.
7. Water slides or any water-feature inflatables are NOT permitted under any circumstances. 
Usage of such will be grounds for immediate revocation of pavilion rental and barring from any 
future rental(s).

 

INDEMNIFICATION:  User shall indemnify and hold harmless the City of Taneytown and its officials, employees 
and agents from and against any and all liabilities, judgements, settlements, losses, costs or charges (including 
attorneys' fees) incurred by the City of Taneytown or any of its officials, employees or agents as a result of any 
claim, demand, action or suit relating to any bodily injury (including death), loss or property damage caused by, 
arising out of, related to or associated with the use of the City's property by the User or by the User's members, 
employees, agents or invitees.

 

PROPERTY DAMAGE:  User shall pay the City of Taneytown for any and all physical loss or damage to the 
City's property (including the cost to repair or replace the property) caused by, arising out of, relating to or 
associated with the use of the property by the User or by the User's members, employees, agents or invitees.

NOTE: IF YOU ARE HOLDING A SPECIAL EVENT THAT WILL REQUIRE MORE PARK FACILITY USE THAN A STANDARD PAVILION RESERVATION AND THIS EVENT WILL BE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, YOU MUST OBTAIN A SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT. SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED AT LEAST FORTY (40) DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT DATE. CONTACT THE DIRECTOR OF PARKS AND RECREATION FOR DETAILS. (lvaccare@taneytownmd.gov)

Taneytown Memorial Park, Playground Road, is the City’s largest park. Home of forty acres of open green grass and trees for shading, this park is the perfect setting for a picnic or family gathering. Sport fields and equipment help fill the park. Activities such as football, baseball/softball, basketball, tennis with lighted courts, a fishing pond, 2 playgrounds, restrooms, parking and eight-picnic pavilions with electricity will make your visit more enjoyable. The basketball and tennis courts were just renovated, so please come to the park and have fun.

Roberts Mill Park is one of the most beautiful serene parks in Taneytown. The Park sits on 19.3 acres of open lush green land. This Park also contains a pond that is fed by natural springs in the park. The pond is home to a variety of different animals and wildlife. Robert’s Mill Park contains something for everyone. Soccer/Lacrosse fields with lighting, full basketball court, fenced in playground (security for pond), sand volleyball court, three picnic pavilions, restrooms and parking. There is now a lighted walking trail around the pond.
